Cranberry sauce is an integral part of Thanksgiving dinner and I can attest to its necessity from childhood on. But nothing beats making your own version! Once I realized its quick and easy preparation process, there was no turning back – especially now that low-carb options exist!

Traditional cranberry sauce recipes often call for quite a lot of added sugar, which makes sense given that cranberries only contain 4 grams of natural sugar per cup and sorely need something sweet to offset their tartiness. Sugar helps balance this out, turning those beautiful little tart red berries into something edible; but for this recipe we are ditching its empty calories and carbs altogether!

Substituting for regular sugar with our favorite zero-calorie, sugar-free sweetener: SPLENDA(r) Stevia Sweetener is 100% all natural and tastes just like real sugar; made with an extract rich in Rebaudioside D (Reb D). Stevia leaves are known for their sweet and delicious flavor due to the extract Rebaudioside (Reb-A).
